FOR CHILDREN'S SMILE PROGRAM - EARLY SCREENING, DETECTING AND TREATMENT OF MOLD MISALIGNMENT FOR CHILDREN AT TRAN QUANG CO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
1. Misaligned teeth at children
Did you know that in Vietnam, 9 out of 10 people have dental diseases, equivalent to 90% of the population of Vietnam. And 55% of them are children aged 8-16.
In particular, children aged 9-12 years old, at the stage of mixed teeth, conditions such as tooth decay, gingivitis, pulpitis, misaligned teeth, etc. are extremely common. At the same time, this is also the "golden time" that the treatment of these diseases, as well as the adjustment of the smile, is most effective.
Therefore, along with the development of society and dental education, parents need to pay more and more attention to their children's teeth, especially to learn about the problems of tooth misalignment and related diseases for children to be examined, planned and treated right from the mixed dentition stage.
2. Signs of misaligned teeth
- Unbalanced face, children have difficulty in chewing
- Gingivitis, pain, bleeding gums.
- Food is easy to stuck
- Upper and lower jaws do not match
- The adjacent teeth are tilted into the missing tooth space
- Crowded teeth or have a lot of gaps
3. For children's smlie program - Early screening, detecting and treatment of mold misalignment for children at Tran Quang Co Elementary School
With the goal of creating healthy and beautiful smiles so that the children are always confident and radiant when they go to school, LEETRAY contacted and discussed with Tran Quang Co primary school about the plan to implement the examination program for the children.
Being trusted by school, LEETRAY was present at Tran Quang Co primary school in October 2020. Here, all students in grades 4 and 5 of the school were examined by LEETRAY's medical team, supporting early detection of deviations for timely adjustment.
After that, the children were carefully examined by LEETRAY doctors, collect information and pictures to summarize the examination results and treatment plans, then send them back to parents and students.
